Library Graffiti

I want to go to a NaNo write-in tomorrow, since it would be within easy driving distance for once. Let's see if I can socialize like a normal human being!

A girl who may or may not be disturbingly obsessed with Harry Potter etched "Ron loves Hermione!" (in a big heart) into the restroom wall at the library, and someone else later responded "Fuck Hermione, Ron loves cock," or something to that effect. Pure class!

Much less amusing is the graffiti in another part of the building soliciting information on where to find 10-14 year old girls for sex. There's a board in one of the staff rooms with photos and information on people who are banned from the library for being pedophiles or otherwise violent sex offenders, and I always wonder whether someone on there was responsible for it or if it was someone who hasn't been caught/convicted yet.

I think I would love to work at a library as an actual librarian rather than just as someone who cleans the place. If I decide not to go through with a Marine Biology degree, that may end up being what I go to college for instead.
