I like vampires... Of course I never actually wanted to be one... No, I wanted to be coffin bait. Ever read the Anita Blake ones? Dear GOD how I wanted Jean Claude... It took her like 4 or 5 books to sleep with him, the idiot. And then when she finally slept with Richard I wanted to smack her. I hated Richard! He was such a whiny baby... Once she slept with him I couldn't read anymore.
So far, I've avoided those because I've heard so much about how the series started out awesome but eventually turned into crap, and I hate having my heart broken by that kind of thing! :)
I've been on such a vampire kick lately that I may read the good ones anyway, though.
I read the first Anita Blake novel the other day and MUST get more of them at the library soon! Thanks for recommending those!
I love the Southern Vampire Mysteries series (a.k.a. Sookie Stackhouse series) by Charlaine Harris. It's tons of fun, although the more recent ones have me worried that that series might start going downhill soon too.

Ya, read the first 5-6 then stop. That's what I did.
I was so done after that. I stopped mid Blue Moon, I think :)
I'll do that, as soon as I've gotten through my current batch of library books!
Hey lady, have you read any Jacqueline Carey? Cause if you haven't.... You are SO missing out :)
I haven't yet, but I'll keep her in mind. :)
