HORRIFYING.

I decided to experiment with the alcohol I had at hand and mixed a tiny bit of chocolate-flavored Irish Cream with a tiny bit of Chambord. Yummy-sounding, right?

Once I'd mixed it, it ENDED UP REALLY CHUNKY. I DO NOT KNOW HOW IT DID THAT. It kind of brought to mind a very poorly-blended milkshake, only more terrifying.

I tried it anyway and it tasted okay, but the texture scared the crap out of me so I still ended up pitching it.

Disappointed, I decided to try something else and mixed some berry-lemonade snow cone flavoring into some Irish Cream. The texture again mutated horrifically and I ended up with very, very thick glue (which, again, tasted okay but was too scary to finish).

At this point I triple-checked the Irish Cream itself to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with it, and it was fine.

So, lesson learned! Irish cream gets VERY ANGRY if you get too adventurous with it!

bleh.... The taste can be good but the texture....

Brian ADORES Irish Car Bombs which is:

Jamison Irish Whiskey
Guinness
And Irish Cream

You mix the Irish cream and Whiskey in a shot glass, and then drop it into a pint glass about half full of Guinness and then you DRINK IT AS FAST AS YOU CAN cause it curdles into a nasty mess.
It is technically a REALLY big shot. And gets you fucked up really quick. And my gag reflex won't let me 'chug' anything so I've always passed.

Supposedly they taste like dark chocolate. Brian likes them.

So ya. One must be careful about the Irish Cream. It doesn't play well with others. It won't "mix" with some other liquors. Snobby delicious bitch.

I don't even know what Chambord is.

I hope you didn't waste any of your concoction.

@ diesel
I only made a very tiny little bit, so I only wasted a few drops. :)

Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur.

That sounds yummy!
